cujagu ::: Favorites When you use tunings as far away from standard tuning as he does it takes a while to tune. Also a guitar is made of wood, which means it bends slightly as you tune it so you have to go back and retune strings you have just tuned, if that makes sense. 07-10-11 08:51:03 __________________________________________________

type3secretion ::: Favorites i think it depends on from where to where he's going; some tuning is further and via more string alterations, and some tunings are harder to get right, especially by ear (don't forget every song is different with him tuning wise); it looks like he was focusing on getting the harmonics to "work well together" for his intro 07-09-27 09:48:50 __________________________________________________
SmokinMesa ::: Favorites Forgive my ignorance but it took him a while to tune it, I know he uses a lot of different tunings. Is it something to do with the guitar not being up to it (I doubt that) or more the stings don't hold a tune so well when pulled around so much?
