well, 100,000yrs is quite a long time, so that should be good for 99.99% of those look to "live forever", as forever is a LITTLE bit longer than they may want to live. that said, we may not be hindered by DNA or even organic matter in a century or 2. we don't know what the future will bring....... but it is fun to think about that which it may. ;d

I doubt living forever as a biological organism would be possible given that the very mechanism which drives evolution that is mutation also determines how long your cells can replicate without producing enough errors to overwhelm the body's self-correcting mechanism. Most likely you'll die of cancer within 100,000 years even if you can make your cells to replicate themselves indefinitely. But, hey I'm not complaining.

you have watched 2,379 YT vids. as long as there is information not aquired, our minds will always be active! of course, it depends on the mind as to what it is active in. science or entertainment both have MUCH more info to offer. ;d

How much new novel information can you process in a few decades? For a life time measured in the age span of the universe, the major problem will not be death, but boredom. An eternal life would only be exciting for the intellectually imaginative and creative. For everybody else it would be hell after a few centuries. But, for me I have too much imagination to be bored.

yup. of course, we`re not even talking about the effects of massive cell regeneration abilities that may be available in the future, so there may be an even less likely chance of dying from an accident. ;d

no, immortality means unable to die or not mortal. this is why it's called being near immortal, as you can still die. ;d

You actually have a probability of dying from a random accident everyday. Let's say it's something like .01 percent chance. Imagine if all disease were whipped out. Then there would b e no way to die but for murder or horrible accident. If you lived long enough, then probability would eventually weigh against you and we'd all die eventually from accident or murder.
