If the 4th army is Nids then you can just say that the Nids are attracted to the planet by virtue of the tremendous bloodshed as the world burns.Then the Nids do what they do best. The Forces of chaos are attempting to take the world to use as a staging area for an assault into imperial space. However this is no great crusade and as such each chaos army is out to claim all the glory and the blood for themselves, to elevate themselves int he eyes of their chosen god over their "brothers".
