did you know the swatstika used to be a symbol of peace, love, unity, and progress. according to the story 'dire image' in my english textbook 'world of the image' (citing so you know im not BSing) this is said. it also said it was the symbol of the boys and girls club of america a LONG time ago, and that most world cultures have this symbol in some way shape or form isnt that insane? O_o thank you for putting this vid back up i had it favorited a while ago but it got removed

This is bull. How ironic that this piece of propaganda made by that anti-Semite Disney warns of German children getting "brainwashed" while it makes a cartoon doing the exact same thing.

what a well written carton. it conveys a strong sense of emotion... i don't quite see how this is could be considered hateful. it's not telling people to go out and slay the nazi's, but it does portray them in a negative light--which is what a propaganda cartoon is supposed to do. i don't think it's hypocritical at all... i see it as a matter of fighting fire with fire. if it's evil to point out something evil, then what is good?

While your entitled to your opinion, I feel this cartoon was using a very valuable resource to channel information. Cartoons were ran like clockwork during that time period in between movies. They were simply conveying the message by the best means at their disposal. And brainwashing happens to people who are ignorant, which seems to be happening a lot these days.

its not fighting evil with evil but fighting deceit with deceit. this was put out to make people think that all germans are embeded from childhood with blind faith in hitler and to be a nazi is the only thing germans are good for. the question is if it is right for governments to trick its people using propoganda if another government is doing the same. I think the answer if no.

It actually is still used today, it has been used by Buddhists for thousands of years. I've seen pictures of Buddhist temples with big swastikas on top. It was even in wide-spread use in the Western world in the early 20th century. Check out "en dot wikipedia dot org/wiki/Western_use_of_the_Swastika_in_the_early_20th_century" Remove the spaces and replace the "dots" with periods.

How ironic... a propaganda cartoon for American kids saying that German kids are under the influence of propaganda. "In war, truth is the first casualty." Aeschylus

Just to be clear on that, US wartime propaganda is by far not as violent, blatantly irrational, and inhuman as any piece of Nazi propaganda crap. But still... ironic.
