hi kenny just like to say thanks for that info and thank you for your comment on rod stewart song. Just one other thing could you tell me which are the best strings to get for the resonator ie.. name of strings and also the gauge and what is the best hight for the action thanks all the best eddie

Thank you for your comment. Sorry about that. I wasn't very clear. I'm playing the fifth string (G) with my thumb as I slide up to the 1st string 5th fret (g) with the bottleneck. In general, when playing Delta style it is usually a constant bass on the tonic string (open G = 5th string).

hi kenny been watching you for a good few weeks now and so decided to buy a resonator the problem im having is the video is to dark and i can't see what strings your thumb is playing when your slideing to the fith fret, please help. I play the acoustic guitar normally but need a change of direction if you want to see me playing and singing check out mickob61 im the one in the bandana im eddie hope to here from you soon all the best eddie ps will be ordering the dvd very soon
